How much fun is it that we can look forward to being surprised each month with a number of fabulous items that the owners of Mom Things are loving themselves!? Two awesome Moms, Brooke and Julie, both from Loudoun County, Virginia started this subscription box service in January 2018. I just love how much thought has been put into the items they select each month AND the packaging too! It really does feel like you are opening a present – not just a cardboard box with items thrown in!
What’s in the box?
Brooke and Julie include items you can use for pampering yourself, practical item(s) (kitchen gadgets anyone?), something you can keep in your purse, as well as an item you could consider adding to your gift box…of course there is nothing wrong with gifting yourself either! Each month you can look forward to receiving new surprises!
Before you even begin unboxing there is an awesome quote selected just for us! This month’s is all about my favorite season…SUMMER!
This month’s box was packed full of great finds!
Pamper Yourself! A FULL SIZE Organic Argan Oil was included which I personally love! I add this oil as a carrier to all of my essential oil roller blends for my face and neck. It does not clog your pours and is so moisturizing! It even says it is great for anti-aging…give me all of it!
Be Practical! A pizza slicer! This is not just any pizza slicer … it’s PINK! It’s small enough that it will be easy to pack for any picnics or pizza nights at the pool.
Your Purse Needs This! The coolest water bottle I have seen was in this month’s box. It is collapsible! I don’t go anywhere without a water bottle but when it is empty I still have the water bottle taking up valuable space! I will be able to collapse this and give myself more room…not to mention it is light!
Your pool bag needs this! A detangler brush – again full size – will guarantee no tangles after getting out of the lake, ocean or pool this summer. This will be the item I ‘gift’…to my daughter! She will love this item as much as I already do!
And finally! A plant-based energy supplement was included! What Mom doesn’t need a boost throughout their day?! The nice thing about this one is it is chemical free!
