Looking for the perfect brunch spot while staying in D.C.? Check out my Washington D.C. brunch review. You can not go wrong at The Greenhouse located in The Jefferson. It is a dining experience you are sure to enjoy!
About once a year my parents will surprise my husband and I with a night away in Washington D.C. A number of years ago I was on the hunt for the perfect brunch spot for my husband and I to go to on a Sunday morning. I came across The Greenhouse and we decided to make a reservation. It was an amazing morning and we have been back at least once a year since. Hence my Washington D.C. brunch review of The Greenhouse.
The Greenhouse is located in The Jefferson in Washington, D.C. The Jefferson hotel is an amazing place to stay for a weekend in the city (or longer if you are not local). From the moment you check in at The Greenhouse until the moment you depart the level of service is impeccable. The staff is very kind and accommodating. They even have this adorable stool for your handbag! I mean really! They have different seating options that are all lovely. We have been lucky enough to sit in the private alcove a couple of times. Even if you are not seated in an alcove, the main dining area is also comfortable and everything is decorated nicely. The ambiance is so nice. The natural light and fresh flowers make it inviting. You can make reservations via OpenTable or by calling the hotel directly.
The Greenhouse Brunch menu is loaded with our favorites! My husband always orders the starter…the basket of fresh pastries. Each danish is different and delicious. We have tried a number of brunch entrees all of which we have loved. You really can not go wrong with their menu. Our favorites include the Lemon Ricotta Pancakes (WOW!), Belgian Waffles, Three Egg Omelet, Lobster Eggs Benedict and French Toast. I hope that you have the opportunity to brunch at The Greenhouse one morning.
